Players Pub Grill - Garden City

This bar is connected to Westy’s Garden Lanes, a bowling alley, but my rating is solely for the bar. To my surprise, it's a Pittsburgh Steelers bar, which is quite unexpected all the way out here in Idaho. The first time I watched a Steelers game there, the atmosphere was electric; the bar was filled with fans in Steelers jerseys cheering for their team. It felt just like home, and if you're a Steelers fan, you'll be warmly welcomed here. The bar is equipped with at least eight HD TVs over the tables, showcasing various NFL games (as well as baseball, basketball, etc.), and there's one large projector screen for the main game, usually featuring the Steelers on NFL weekends alongside a sound system that broadcasts the game's audio throughout the bar. Since I last visited, they have expanded and remodeled the place. Next to the projector screen, there's now an additional room with pool tables and more TVs. Interestingly, while it’s a Steelers bar, it also caters to Cleveland Browns fans who come to support their team—got to respect their loyalty! As for the food, I really enjoy it. I'm not particularly picky, so I find the offerings quite satisfying. I often order the Widow Burger, which is large and surprisingly fresh, and sometimes I just grab a big basket of fries to snack on while enjoying a few IPAs; the fries are crispy and fresh. Now, let me take a moment to highlight the service here. There's a bartender named Mike—he’s the gentleman with glasses and short, spiky hair—and he really goes above and beyond during Steelers games. Given the crowd size, I'm always impressed by how well he remembers everyone's drink orders and anticipates refills. There are other servers who assist him, and they are also great, but Mike really stands out. The combination of friendly people and outstanding service makes this place feel welcoming. I wanted to keep this review brief and to the point, but it’s challenging because I genuinely enjoy coming here. I try to attend every Steelers game because watching with fellow fans is much more enjoyable than being at home. The food is surprisingly good (at least to me), the atmosphere is fantastic, and the service is exceptional. The best part? It's a Steelers bar right here in Idaho! I give it a solid five stars across the board.

The menu here is quite simple. there are not many items that you can choose from, but only about everything that tastes good. my favorite is the fingersteaks so far. they are perfectly broken and fried.

Eating was quite good (the bbq pulled pork), and the service was good, but not great.

Steelers bar! crowd was small. room in the back where the browns fans hang. howrd dynamics with browns fans and steelers fans in the same bar. Bar channels were great. to the greatest part a friendly group. a group of natives who ruined it for a few gastfans. inwould recommend.

It is a great place for bowling or playing pool. The food is good. And the building is quite large and we'll cooled for a summer visit.
