Jay's Catering - Garden Grove

I worked there and resigned in January... and it 's true! all the food is of third quality...the products are always rotten, old or of poor quality...90% of the food is frozen and frozen for several months!! the meat, chicken, seafood all look very bad and as I said lousy quality... what can I tell you about the bosses? despots, rude and harassing... and I mean the guy named uriel the owner 's husband... I don 't know how I got there... I regret having worked for them... well I fell to the lowest in that disgusting place...

My new husband and I had a wonderful experience with Jay's Catering for our wedding a couple weeks ago! We loved all the food and heard nothing but great things about it from our guests as well. Brittany was amazing with helping us through the catering process and making everything seamless for the day of. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding caterer.

We used Jay's catering at our wedding at the Casino in San Clemente! The staff was great, very organized, and everything turned out the way we wanted it to! I wish I could have eaten more!! We got so many compliments on the food (best wedding food I've had), and we went with the Taco Stand which DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The tacos were amazing and so fun for guests! Throughout the whole process, the team at Jays was very responsive and helpful, providing multiple quotes when we kept changing our minds. One thing we wished was a little different was that in-person planning sessions had to be during the work day. My husband and I had to take time off of work to do our walk through at the venue and to do our design meeting because the planners only work during the week hours. Otherwise everything was fantastic and would definitely book with Jays in the future!

My Daughter's wedding was last night at The Casino in San Clemente. Jay's Catering did a stellar job. The food was delicious. Everything was on point. The vermicelli salad, fried rice, chow mien, teriyaki chicken and the pork belly...OMG THE PORK BELLY!!! If you have one menu item from Jay's make it the Pork belly! You won't be sorry! You kind of get used to getting a dried chicken breast and some soggy broccoli at weddings, then Jay's shows up prepared. Nice work people!!

We had our wedding and reception at Hangar 21 South and it was so special! While there were some bumps in the road throughout the planning process, there was one constant who kept things together and went out of her way to constantly be there to help us-Sierra Sprague. Sierra, thank you so much for all the things you did for us throughout this planning process, you were so kind and helpful and made it so much easier! We are so appreciative of your quick responses and flexibility and you truly made the planning process for us filled with way less stress and more excitement than we thought we would have planning from out of state! The event staff from Jays was so personable and kind and everything went so smoothly! It may seem silly, but typically wedding food is the same two food groups and it tends to be mediocre food, but not with Jays. One thing I thought was special is that they hold a 'Taste of Jays ' to allow you to try their different menu options and wow they are all so fantastic and wide range of options. We ended up going with a tropical style menu and guests were raving about the taste and quality of the food! If you are looking for a vendor or a venue that can provide it all, great communication, and even better food/drink, I cannot recommend Sierra Jay 's more.
