The Vintage 1979 - Garden Grove

All from the beautifully decorated outdoor sitting area, the inviting sweet smell from inside and the always inviting and extremely nice staff that I love this place the drinks are very tasty and cakes are to die. the presentation is so beautiful that they almost do not want to eat it! but after the first bite you can't stop. I recommend definitiw. I live 2 hours, but it's worth it.

I came on Wednesday morning so it is not as crowded as the weekends. I ordered Blue and passion fruit soda and Durian mousse. To be honest, the place is a bit overpriced and the taste is good but is not something that I would keep coming back for. BUT, the presentation is the BEST. Just look at my photo.

A very eye catching spot due to the pretty drinks and desserts! If you have a sweet tooth, I think it’s a spot you’d like to try. The drinks are pretty sweet, they definitely are very generous with the syrups! I got the passion fruit soda and I can taste it very well. The lychee tea and mango soda was pretty good too! I like that they incorporate the fresh fruits in the drinks. The desserts weren’t as sweet so it balances out. Parking is a bit hard since it’s a mini plaza area. Seating wise, I’d call in before you’d come cause there’s limited seating.

So upon writing this review this was one of those TikTok made me do it and excited me to come. It was super busy hidden gem in the area. Aesthetically pleasing. The ambience and place is small. Cute. And we’ll great for influencers to come and hype up the business. The teddy bears are so cute but man the prices are a bit expensive for four items it was like 30$. We were like what in the heck. Generic milk teas nothing to be excited about. We ordered our items for Togo. Received our drinks super quick. So waited about 10minutes to receive our pastries nobody popped up so I decided to ask the cashier she apologized said she’ll have them ready. So 15 minutes passes by and my hubby went to go ask again and he watches them pass out our pastries to these other guest and they started eating it. And then the girl realizes that she made a mistake and wanted to hand us our pastries after they ate it. I mean I understand your a busy establishment but seriously they were not in our party since we were waiting outside since it was crowded inside. Just a side note since the pastries only took 3 minutes or less to pack and for us to receive it might be best to hand out all the items at the same time so you wouldn’t confuse your staff and as well as have your guest waiting for so long. I loved the atmosphere but I feel like the customer service could improve a lot more and especially if the prices are high. Communication would be superb. I’m giving them a 3 stars because of the incident first impressions count. I understand if you are busy and we’re super patient. Understandable and mistakes happen but trying to serve our items someone ate is not excusable. On the fence about returning now. Their menu is on a laminated book that right next to the register sitting on a table just to add to that. So really wish they had the menu behind the cashier cause it was so hard to choose which item to get

It's an alright place.One visit is probably all you need for photos.The things we ordered was alright but not really special per say. Stay away from the tiramisu mousse cake, it wasn't that good.
