Tuthill House At The Mill - Gardiner

The ambience is stunning. The food is good, not spectacular, but definitely tasty. A bit heavy-handed with the salt.

This historic mill has a great ambiente, the staff is super attentiveness e and eating is excellent! I recommend the distillery tour in addition to lunch or dinner in the tuthill house restaurant. perfect for a date

Naming this place is just the beginning. I recently celebrated my birthday here with a party of 7, but the waitress seemed completely unaware of the occasion, showing the enthusiasm of a dead fish. It wouldn't be a surprise if she wasn't actually a waitress and just filling in temporarily, as she seemed apathetic. We waited for over 10 minutes without menus and 40 minutes before receiving our first drinks. I had expected a farm-to-table experience based on their online description, but the menu was not what I had anticipated and I questioned the freshness of the ingredients. I was disappointed to find out that the online menu did not match the menu at the restaurant, with no special offerings to make up for it. We ordered the charcuterie board, but the unenthusiastic waitress failed to explain what was on it. Although the food was decent, the subpar service and apparent deception make this place not worth anyone's time.

Distillery and a brilliant chef. Bourbon and more made right there...so good!

To me, tofu is a dish that needs to be prepared well in order to be truly enjoyable. While some ingredients can rely on freshness or seasoning, I appreciate dishes like this one that had a crispy outside and a delicious silky sauce. It was delicious.
