Feedback gevenThe food was delicious! My first time visiting and eating the red snapper. The family were very nice and made very good suggestion on how to eat the fish. I would love to see them expand and include dine in, so we can have the whole Island experience. Definitely will revisit again.
Overall the food was good. The oxtails were really good, actually. I ordered what was described as a 3pc oxtail dinner, but when I opened the platter, there were 2 of what looked like regular or normal sized oxtails and 1 really tiny one lol. That threw me off. The pepper steak was good and so was the cabbage. I also ordered the perch fillets which were ok, but they were soggy due to the vegetables that were on top. Not a big deal, just an observation.
Co worker told me about the place, after I saw her plate lg oxtail looked great I went the next day ordered the same. Was not given the same quantity of oxtails as she. Not much flavor. $18 for four tiny ox tails never again. Try the spot on the west side off Lorain the drive will be worth it
I've never had ox tail before but I definitely will again! It's almost like a delicious slow cooked pork shank or pot roast. The gravy was amazing. Meat falls apart, so savory. Rice was doused with said gravy and the cabbage they serve it with can all go on the same fork with everything else because it just fits perfectly with the other flavors. Great comfort food! I will be back.
