Barcelona's in Garfield is a classic establishment that has been around for years. Their pizza is fantastic - thin crust with a delicious sauce and just the right amount of cheese. Our server Maddie was wonderful, with over 30 years of experience. She was friendly, efficient, and handled everything from taking orders to serving food. We tried a pizza with half meatball and half eggplant, both of which were cooked to perfection. The eggplant was thinly sliced, breaded, and crispy, while the meatball portion was a hit with my friends. We also ordered the rice balls, which were filled with cheese and seasoned perfectly. Paired with the marinara sauce, they were a delicious treat. Whenever we have a pizza craving, we know we can count on Barcelona's. We will definitely be returning.

I used to dine at this restaurant with my mom a long time ago, and from what I remember, the food was good. Recently, my friends and I visited based on their recommendation of the pizza and appetizers. The appetizers, dumplings, and pizza were indeed good. However, it took a long time for the waitress to take our order and bring drinks. I tried the white sangria, which tasted more like fruit juice. The pizza and dumplings were excellent, as our friends suggested. Unfortunately, the meatball dinner was disappointing. The meatballs were mushy, tasteless, and extremely large - the size of a grapefruit, which seemed absurd. The pasta sauce was bland, tasting like plain tomato sauce with no seasoning. On the bright side, the fries I ordered were crispy and not greasy. The waitress appeared unfriendly and slow, and it took ages to get drink refills. I rated this restaurant 3 stars solely for the good pizza.
