Feedback gevenI just placed an order, and I have to say, it was disappointing. The tostones were average; the center was soft and not crunchy at all. They were delivered in a small container, but it definitely wasn't for long. As for the chicken chaufa rice, it had an unpleasant smell when I opened the container, and the taste was no better. My friend felt the same way. I ended up wasting $20, but oh well.
This place isn’t an authentic Peruvian restaurant. I ordered papa a la huancaína, and it had a strange smell while the sauce tasted bitter. The bistec was bland, but the worst part was that it was undercooked in some areas and red inside. Normally, I don’t criticize food, but when it made my stomach hurt, I felt it was necessary to speak up! For genuine Peruvian cuisine, I recommend ordering from Leña y Carbon instead!
The food was fantastic, and the staff were very friendly. When I asked for clarification about the dishes, the descriptions were spot on.
What a hidden gem! I really appreciated the parking availability, but the standout features were definitely the food and the staff. The waitress was cheerful and provided great insights into her favorite dishes from both the Dominican and Peruvian menus. My Lomo Saltado was outstanding, and the chaufa I took home was incredibly delicious! I highly recommend this place.
The food was decent, but the portions were quite small. The service was good, and the restaurant was clean.
