Pastrami Grill Bistro - Garfield

I requested for the sandwich to be grilled, it wasn't . The pastrami was very fatty. The potato latkes were well done burnt and soggy . Not a good value very disappointing.

The pastrami sandwich was delicious, and the coleslaw was among the best I've ever had. The pea soup had a perfect consistency and was very tasty and homemade. However, it was a bit too salty. I plan to try it again, as it may have just been an error. Overall, I loved everything!

The portion of pastrami I received was huge and quite decent. While it's not the best I've ever tasted, it's definitely the best in New Jersey by a long shot! The balance of fat and lean meat is good, and let's be honest—the fat is where the flavor lies. The pickles were alright, but I found them to be a bit disappointing.

The split pea soup is fantastic! The sandwiches are substantial! Is it a bit pricey? Perhaps. But is it worth it? Definitely! And if you’re a fan of pickles, there’s an extra delight waiting for you.
