Captain D's - Garland

I really prefer this place over Long John Silver. The location on Beltline and Hwy 30 has ample parking, and the interior is nice and clean. It's also very kid-friendly!

I tried this restaurant for the first time, and I have to say, the prices are comparable to actual seafood chains like Fish City, Flying Fish, and Fish Shack. Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations at all! The fried catfish tasted like something you would find in a TV dinner. I don’t plan on returning. If you’re craving fish, I recommend going to a “real” seafood restaurant instead.

I stopped by to pick up dinner and had an incredible experience! Miss Aundrea was outstanding—so friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed for my order. She truly embodies the customer experience at that restaurant. I highly recommend having her train your staff and consider giving her a raise. Thank you and God bless you all!

Food is super good and loved this place for a while. Last night while l was there getting some food i witnessed the manager or shift leader, was being very rude to the employees in the back especially the one girl. The manager lady was just going off and i can see all this through the kitchen window. I felt bad for the employees because no one should be spoken to like that. Great food though!

Every time I come here my meal is fresh. I wouldn't say it's catfish but still worth the stop. Seasoning is on point and they rarely make mistakes with my food. Been going to this one for over the past year.
