David's Meat Market - Garland

It was my first time going there today and let’s just say it brought back beautiful memories of back home in Louisiana. It’s very family oriented and they will guide you on the selections of meat they have and also offer really good deals on large quantities. Always remember QUALITY OVER QUANTITY

I usually buy my meats at Hirschs in Plano. Since David's store was close by my house, I thought I'd give it a try. I was there a little after 3 o'clock and I was the only customer in the store.As I was trying to decide what other items I wanted to buy, the guy behind the counter was rushing me. I was in the store for maybe 5 minutes and spent $80. As a customer, I don't appreciate being rushed, especially if I'm going to spend money there. I'd rather drive 20 minutes to another store and be treated right.

Deceptive practices, will not be returningi call and ask about the jerky, i'm told that it's very hard and to come the next daythe next day i ask for a sample, and the employee gives me an edible piece and i have the same expectation for the resti buy the jerky and there are only 2 edible pieces, the rest i would not feed to dogsthis is not a new business, when you tell someone something definitive; they have a right to an expectation. and you should not mislead them when you are at the point of no return and can't keep true to your word.

Amazing shop, multigenerational family owned business. Absolutely worth a stop!I suggest the ribeye and the smoked sausage!!
