I celebrated the good Italians right at our hotel. Day 2. This means a whole day on the Zugspitze and a whole day of strenuous activities. No, not directly physical, it was about the use of a motor control, but the thin air demanded with us, unknown flat-land drivages, right tribute. And the homage had to be conquered. It was only possible on the Sonnalpe in the restaurant. But “not panic” I don’t think I’m going to evaluate this flat-breasted dessert economy. This was much better at our last stay in 2015, but here and now it is what it is: a dessert economy with uniqueness and a corresponding price, taste, offer quality design. Back in Partenkirchen it should be the Taverne Hellas in the evening. At least I wasn't betrayed by care. Whether the crispy rain, which should be a sign of 18:30 above the double village, I cannot say with certainty. We felt very fast in the pleasantly furnished house. And very quickly aids were delivered against dehydration (the napkin delivered the known translation: dipsáo ordered and pleasantly cooled. So we could search the map and weigh our desire. The card offered the Greek standards that you usually did in D and otherwise no major extensions or even surprises. No problem. But basically it is. Unfortunately, the already known white bread slices were also delivered to Baguette type, which also contributed a trace of nothing to this silence. It wasn't bad. In the sense of ‘smaller than competition’. But when does it stop that dry white bread slices are delivered to such a dish? Then the Pita, which at least looked very good here, will advertise more for fifty-one. This is not to be classified in the house. Everybody does. Anyway, the white beer was good and the pressure was decent. And when we were asleep, the salads were already there. For this country kitchen and what I know in D, it was even a very good salad. A pleasant and spicy dressing accompanied leaf salads of eggplant style and tasted very good. The carrots are a little sweet, but what is that? And how tomatoes can taste this season, we do not have to discuss them here. In gastronomy, this does not seem to have fully arrived in better homes. The main dishes were not allowed to wait for a fee and came to the table after a pleasant time. And some looked very good. The XYZ plates of colleagues were praised as to whether the delicate meat and the passable wort. You were done! There's nothing more to say. But this way fits. But the gyroscope pans made me scare. That didn't look promising. But you should not be deceived by the first impression. The cheese "baked" about it was okay. But somehow for a lack of contact something as unproblematic as it looks on the picture. For this, the Gyros was pleasantly spicy and also at the right point between crispy and soft. Unfortunately, it also had a certain “grape” touch. That was not so desired and totally disturbed the taste. I don't know what the cook had mixed up there and I don't even want to know. I didn't experience that in this massiveity. That among all circles and sauce also pieces of potatoes set the crown for me. The Metaxas sauce wasn't bad. But among the blind, the one-eye is known as king, and from this I can't say what killed me. Conclusion: Maybe Gyros is also the discipline of the king in some Hellenes. Then I'm more Greek than the house. No one has survived a lawsuit on my Gyros. But no one has complained; but I can't do a good bifteki because I never do it anyway. But better Zaziki and... The colleagues with the “plates” were very happy. It's worth something. I would like to have exchanged with them in this respect.
Not authentic Greek. The gyro was full of fat chunks. The souvlaki lack taste. Not sure if it was the owner or manager that came to the table, he told me...
The owners were very friendly and quick. Which in Europe is rare. We wanted to have a nice Greek meal before heading back home and our son chose Greek food....
