Black Market Bistro - Garrett Park

This is a fantastic, relaxed restaurant situated at the charming old-fashioned village train station, complete with a lovely patio.

This charming bistro is located in a cottage-style house in a lovely community. Be sure to drive slowly after leaving the main road and follow your GPS for accurate directions. There's a parking lot on the left, along with designated parallel parking spots leading up to the front entrance. I recommend starting with the Black Market Bistro burger from the menu; it was excellent even as a takeout dinner. I also saw on the chalkboard that they serve brunch, which I will definitely be trying next!

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for delicious food in a lovely setting, and an added perk is the occasional sight and sound of a freight or passenger train passing by just about 100 feet away. I've visited many times and even have a favorite table!

Always a pretty good and consistent quality food, wait staff service in a very cozy environment. You’ll keep coming back!!

Love to sit on the porch for dinner. Such a beautiful neighborhood. I always get the bbq shrimp and grits and we love the oysters dusted in cornmeal, too.
