The Creole Shrimp with Grits was absolutely phenomenal—truly amazing. The Collard Greens were also excellent. I really enjoyed the sweet potato cake as well, but I have to say, the shrimp with grits was the standout dish. The wait time was quite lengthy, but is it possible to wait in your car and give them a call?

Fantastic food and friendly service! The turkey is incredibly tasty, and the shrimp and grits are simply divine. The portion sizes are generous, making it a great deal. Allow BJ's Cafe to elevate your weekend dining experience. And don’t forget to indulge in dessert; whether you choose cake or cobbler, you won’t regret it. This is a wonderful addition to the Tolleston neighborhood. Kudos to the Holmes-Miller family for another job well done!

This was my first visit to my family's restaurant, and I was truly impressed. The food was wonderfully prepared and well-seasoned; I only wish I could have had more. I'm definitely planning to return for Sunday dinner. It would be great if they were open during the week as well. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for delicious soul food!

Excellent chicken. It tastes just like the way my grandmother made it. This is a take out place but very clean inside and the people working there are courteous and professional. Also what I like are the prices. They are cheaper than some other chicken places around in this area.
