Starbucks - Gas City

I drink Starbucks more than I’d like to admit but I’ve never run into this issue. I don’t go to the gas city location often but that’s where I went today. I requested cinnamon dolce syrup on the top of my drink as I always do. I received the drink and noticed that there wasn’t any on there. (I just got the same drink yesterday at the angola location) I was informed the syrup was clear but it was on there. Called the store and was told the same thing. I’m not sure if stores varies as far as color of syrups go. It’s only 50 cents that’s not a big deal. I don’t need a free drink I would just like to know if this was a change that happened over night or if it was a mistake they weren’t willing to fix. Drink was great other than that!
