Casey's - Gassville

The manager on duty informed me that I could not bring my service dog inside and denied me service. Fortunately, a new cashier assisted me instead. I have everything recorded and plan to contact an attorney on Monday!

I visited this store as I usually do, and to my surprise, the manager was loudly reprimanding two employees for not performing their jobs correctly. It was uncomfortable for everyone present, and such a scene should never unfold in public. If I were one of those employees, I would have considered quitting on the spot. It was quite embarrassing for me as a customer, even though I wasn't directly involved. The employee who assisted me during checkout—one of those being criticized—was very polite and friendly despite the situation. I can't understand why this Casey's would have someone like that in charge of their staff. It felt like a clear abuse of power!

While passing through Gassville, I couldn't resist the chance to stop and refuel. This Casey's is part of the Upside program, allowing me to earn an 18-cent per gallon rebate on my fuel purchase—just enough to cover my coffee at the next stop. Twice now that I’ve bought a del sandwich this week and the cheese has been moldy. By the time I get to lunch at work and find out and then no other option for lunch. I stop in around 9pm but it doesn’t matter if it’s late. The food should be checked and thrown o it if it’s bad. I’ve also found expired drinks after purchase. I’m concerned about the staff not properly checking items and getting someone sick.

The staff is unhelpful, and there never seems to be enough people on duty. Often, they’re outside on smoke breaks instead of assisting customers. The pumps frequently malfunction, and if you go inside to inquire about them, you have to wait in line just to get to the gas pumps.
