Feedback gevenI’m giving this place one star because there’s no option for zero. I visited recently and was quite disappointed with the service. The meal was subpar; the salmon was dry and lacked the Cajun flavor it was supposed to have. The portion of asparagus on the side was minimal, and we had to wait a long time for our coffee and tea. The table was sticky, as if it had been cleaned with the wrong product. At 7 p.m., the restaurant was nearly empty, which should have been a warning sign. However, due to limited options because of local elections, we chose to eat here. We felt rushed throughout the meal; the waiter interrupted us to ask if we wanted boxes and then quickly followed up with the check. My colleague was so put off by the waiter’s behavior that he left half of his meal untouched. I won’t return to this restaurant and will likely avoid other O'Charley locations in the future. Very disappointing.
We stopped in for a quick starter and a drink after a run, and the restaurant was quite busy between lunch and dinner. We sat at the bar, which also served the tables in the bar area, but it was no problem since we were the only customers at the bar. The service was excellent! Even when they accidentally served us the wrong beer due to two of the taps being switched, the issue was swiftly and graciously resolved with apologies and some laughs with the manager and bartender. The menu had reasonable prices and offered a great selection of casual dishes and entrees. We particularly enjoyed the shrimp and stuffed crab appetizers. There was no loud music or sports on TV, just nice service and a pleasant atmosphere. We look forward to returning soon!
Amazing experience. This place is always good when I go! I have the seafood plate. I love the stuffed crab cakes absolutely amazing. Server was great, service was great!
I had a wonderful experience recently! My waitress, Tiffany Wilson, was fantastic! She was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. What she does is truly impressive. I couldn't have asked for a better meal. The staff genuinely goes above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction. I will definitely be back!
Ordered online, picked up at location in Gastonia NC. I ordered Southern Pecan Chicken Tender Salad that salad normally has mandarin oranges, dried cranberries, bleu cheese crumbles candied pecans with Balsamic Vinaigrette. But I got lettuce, chicken, cheddar cheese, tomatoes cucumbers. That 's not even close so I called so I could get the food I ordered the attitude was that of someone acting like I did something wrong. When I said there was cucumber on my salad she said they don 't have anything with cucumbers ? Told me to hold so she could go find out what to do. (That 's definitely not how you handle this). She comes back to the phone says it will be ready in 15 minutes. Then when I hung up my fiancé said his Garlic Shrimp Pasta was terrible. The noodles were overcooked the shrimp undercooked. I go back to the restaurant the girl up front was nice to me told me they had all new cooks. But that 's not an excuse bc what about O 'Charley 's standard? What happened to that? So I get home with the new food I took one bite threw it in the trash. My salad was disgusting. My fiancé 's Alfredo was mac cheese noodles with white cheese on top. He said it tastes like feet. So we are eating the rolls that were in the bag. My little kids had the new chicken sliders when I asked was it good my daughter said its not the best but I 'm hungry mom. I paid $42 for 3 kids meals a salad, no drinks. And 2 meals went in the trash. This situation definitely calls for a refund. I have been eating from O 'Charley 's for at least 15 years this is not okay. You guys need to do better bc this go round you don 't deserve 1 star. I really hope this is not the new standard.
