Barburrito Metrocentre - Gateshead

Unfortunately, Barburrito is now gone from the Metro Centre. It was never busy and I presume that's why it's gone. The food was amazing. You go along the counter and pick what you want. I hope to visit Barburrito at another venue soon.

Visited Bar burrito during a shopping trip, the food was great, however, when we first walked into the restaurant the staff were sitting on the benches where the food was sitting, some on their phones and talking. Tables were untidy with leftover cups, plates and napkins. Server was quite abrupt and made to feel like we were an inconvenience to be there, he didn't check my student ID and seemed like he couldn't be bothered to smile.

Love this place. The food is lovely and staff are really friendly. Staff always make you feel welcome and they are the best burritos I ever had

At the cinema and we wanted something quick, to take away as we didn’t have much time and better than hot dogs. Would normally have done yosushi but wanted something different today. Barburrito was the answer to the above equation. The ordering is easy, the food very tasty and service was nice too. One to try, although eating in would probably have been easier than managing in a dark cinema!!

This is a good place to come to and grab a quick bite, the vegan burrito with spinach wrap is very nice. I've eaten in here several times and always found it to be nice and the food good. I was in a couple of weeks ago and was chatting to the guy in the kitchen who told me an interesting fact that he'd heard on Q.I that avocados are in fact technically not strictlyvegan because they, along with with kiwi fruits and butternut squashes, are cultivated using bees) and along with learning something interesting he gave us a portion of churros on the house. The churros are vegan by the way as long as you omit the chocolate sauce. I've been to this Barburrito and also the two in the Trafford Centre in Manchester and have always enjoyed the visit. I prefer Barburrito over Chiquitos because apparently the rice at Chiquitos is not vegan because it contains milk derivatives :
