Spice Garden Winlaton - Gateshead

I tried this restaurant for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The onion bhaji mix and Chatt-Starter were delicious. The chicken curma and chicken tikka sagg had a beautiful aroma and were not too oily. The popadoms practically melted in my mouth. I wasn't a fan of the garlic naan, as it had a bit too much garlic for my taste. Overall, it was good value for money and a pleasant dining experience. One surprise was that they only accepted cash, which wasn't clearly stated on the menu. We also received a free curry, which was a nice touch. I will definitely be returning to try more dishes. I recommend checking out the restaurant, especially since they allow you to bring your own beer/wine at a lower cost.

The food is fantastic, the ambiance is wonderful, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of Indian cuisine!
