Valley Farm, Dining Carvery - Gateshead

Always have a nice Carvery here. Last time I visited, I had fish and chips I didn't enjoy. It seemed overtaken and flat compared to my father who also visited. It was busy this day, but we had to wait 40 minutes for our drinks and another 15 for our food. My uncle visited abroad, and he was in a hurry, so he had to go halfway through his food, as he didn't want to wait so long. I was really disappointed. I have put this experience on a bad day and will come back, but I will order nothing else than a Carvery. It is a decent pub with many free parking spaces. Can eat inside and outside. 2 separate toilet facilities in the building and has a children's playground. Appropriate prices and decent food (usually). Great location, right on the A1.

We had been shopping nearby and had the pangs of hunger and remembered that we had been to this abode several times in the past. Therefore it was an easy decision to have something to eat here. As usual it was pretty full with a good friendly atmosphere, the staff were courteous and the food was very good plus we did not have to wait very long to eat. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely carvery. I don't eat meat but everything else is cooked to perfection and they do veggie gravy. My husband loves the choice of meats and you wouldn't believe the size of the puddingsyum

It's been a while since I was last here, but it seems like it has a new lease of life. Everything from ordering at the bar to eating my mixed meat carvery was 5 star. As a taxi driver, I like to be eating good quality food, which will last me for the shift. Please thank the nice staff for a great service.

Had a very nice carvery, but the apple crumble was delightful, lovely and hot . The carvery could have been a bit hotter but I know it's hard keeping thing hot .Nathan was very pleasant and helpful on the carvery as were all the other staff. All in all a very pleasant lunch
