The breakfast options were not displayed well on the menu. If I had known more about the brunch offerings, I would have preferred that instead. Upon arrival, we were greeted but were not informed about the buffet option; we were only given menus. Had I not asked and followed other patrons to the buffet area, I would not have known about it. I believe the communication with guests could be improved. However, the food was delicious and there was a wide variety. The waitstaff was attentive in refilling our drinks. Parking was easy, but the lack of handicap accessibility, with many stairs and no elevators in such a large facility, was concerning. The view from the terrace overlooking the water was beautiful. Thank you.
I dined at this restaurant during my stay at the hotel. The menu is concise, which I appreciate as it ensures that each dish is prepared to a high standard. The seafood dish I ordered was exceptional, and the steak was cooked exactly how I like it. The service was top-notch, fitting for a high-quality hotel and restaurant. The wine selection was a bit limited for my personal preferences, but still unique in its own way.
We love the seafood plate, but they changed it awhile back and it wasn't worth the money. You have now a seafood tower that is much better, it has octopus, large shrimps, scallops, lobster tails cut into two, Calamari steaks, crab legs,... everything was great and if you ask an excellent server for Marc de Repentigny, he knows his stuff, we always ask for him. Negative I miss the garlic butter or aloi sauce they use to, now they have not, (please at least bring garlic better) it is so good with seafood.
Attended a 50th anniversary reunion dinner at Arome. Not cheap but worth every nickel. We were dining from the 'Prix Fixe ' menu. I ordered the Cote de boeuf. One of the best slices of beef I have ever eaten. (They slow cook it for 8...hours or so). The desert was listed as chocolate cake. To call it 'cake ' is a little like calling the Mona Lisa a drawing. One of the most scrumptious deserts I have ever eaten.
