I went to a Moroccan restaurant on the corner to celebrate a few birthdays. I had never noticed the restaurant before, but I was impressed by the reception and attention our group received. The staff had our table prepared with utensils and napkins since we had a reservation, which I believe is not always the case. The buffet cost $13 and included appetizers, dessert, and coffee or tea. There were various options of vegetables, sides, and meats, but the fish was particularly delicious. The lamb stew was also highly praised by my friends. Everyone agreed that the couscous was divine and the soup was amazing. I recommend trying this restaurant.
My husband works near this restaurant and has been there many times. He loves the lamb shank and suggested I try the lunch buffet. This restaurant is only open for lunch and is not fancy, but the food is really delicious. The decor is a bit outdated, but that doesn't matter when the food is this good. The lunch buffet starts with a tasty brown lentil soup and salad options, but I would recommend skipping the salads because there are so many hot food options to try. The buffet includes couscous with cooked vegetables like carrots, root veggies, and cabbage, as well as meatballs, Moroccan sausages, rice, stuffed tomatoes, and their specialty meat pies (one per person). The lamb shank is a standout - even as someone who isn't a huge fan of lamb, I found it cooked perfectly with a soft, moist texture and great flavor. You can enjoy a lot of high-quality food for a very reasonable price at this restaurant, so make sure to come hungry and if possible, take the afternoon off to fully enjoy the experience!
Malgress a little inviting place and a minimalist decor, this restaurant serves tasty cuisine, whose quality/price rappor is undoubtedly the best in the region.
We go here all the time for a delicious an inexpensive lunch buffet. There are many different kinds of meat, salads, and the lentil soup is amazing. Go for the food, not the service. They don't have any extra staff beyond the two owners, one of whom usually mans the cash register. But for a simple, quick and delicious lunch, it's SO worth it.
