L'Ardoise - Gatineau

We took our breakfasts, unbreakable service good temperature of good taste foods I recommend slate.

Four adults had dinner & 2 bottles of wine for about $300. Service cheerful & competent. Not fine dining, but perfectly acceptable main courses and salads. Good desserts!

The only full-service restaurant within 10 minutes of the Four Points. I dined alone at 8:30pm and had attentive service and a delicious meal of French onion soup and a trio of hamburger sliders. Local beers by the bottle. I would return here if I stayed at the hotel again.

Very good reception, but a map where the vegetarian does not have its place with a single choice. the chef must concoct attractive dishes for vegetarians and pay attention to the remarks transmitted by the customers to the room staff. the room manager runs in every direction to take care of only one table. Very medium kitchen.

Long day of travelling, meetings all afternoon......not in a mood to go far......decided to try the restaurant in the hotel......usually high dining resto but to our suprise comfort food.....only opens at 5.00.....waited.....walked in ....waited a bit.....no one came so we sat where we wanted.....took a bit of time but the servers did eventually show up.....once attended though super service, merci Amelie......started with drinks.....she came quickly with cold water, followed shortly after with our drinks.....ordered an appetizer to start.... chacuterie and fromage.....portion is small so not good to share.....ordered the artoise poutine...pretty good...topped it up with the Artoise pizza, boar sausage, caremelized onions and feta on a thin crust with pesta as a base.....it was pretty good also......price mid range and reasonable considering in a hotel.....worth giving them a try......
