Resto Bar Marina - Gatineau

Several times have been here and the service is immaculate. Always need someone down for service and refill. Very expensive but beautiful location a beautiful view from the terrace. Last time, I was insulted and verbally abused by bartenders after asking for my opinion and I mentioned that the service was met and missed. He really went overboard and insulted me personally. Other servers tried to calm him down. I sent my comments and experience to the management, but don't know if I'll get an answer.

It is sad if a restaurant puts on its location and does not disturb, an effort in the kitchen. Not worth the money.

The marina view from the terrace is stunning. The food was delicious, the fruity drinks were enjoyable, and the service was satisfactory. However, we were not given water, had to wait for utensils while our food cooled, and the table was not wiped off properly, leaving food smudges. Despite these small issues, the server was polite and friendly. Overall, it was a good visit and we would consider returning.

During the warmer months, this restaurant offers a spacious outdoor terrace overlooking the water with stunning views. They have a good selection of beer and drinks. The food was decent and the service was good.

On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoons, the Marina has a fantastic patio band. Last Saturday, they played a great combination of reggae and classic rock music (Van Morrison, The Rolling Stones). The music had everyone on the patio dancing by 7pm. This is the perfect spot to visit on a warm evening, watching the sunset while sipping on sangria and cold inexpensive beer. The food mostly consists of typical deep-fried pub fare, but who cares after enjoying a few Marina Sangrias and taking in the beautiful sunset over the river. Not me!
