They wanted to return the next morning before we left, but unfortunately, they didn't open early enough for us. I do think the prices are a bit steep; for example, a side of horned beef costs $5.99. I ordered the country fried steak, which was nothing out of the ordinary. The girls enjoyed their meals as well. Again, the prices were quite high for breakfast, but since it's a tourist destination, we were willing to pay for the experience.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience! We appreciated the waiting list feature, as it allowed us to manage our time; when we arrived, there was a wait of over an hour. The restaurant offered a truly unique atmosphere and interior design, with a charming country style that perfectly matched its name. While the service wasn't the friendliest, it was very attentive. The food was delightful, and the value for what we received was excellent.
Expect a long waiting period, but you can call. They're waiting because it's delicious. The menus look like old newspapers and you can keep them as a souvenir. Breakfast is expensive, but the portions are huge. I couldn't finish the omelet, it must have been 5 eggs or more. My friend has the pancakes and they are huge too! It comes in a skill and is like a literal cake. It's over one inch thick, maybe even two. You can be filled. The service was also top notch. As soon as you get to dinner quickly.
The atmosphere is superb. The wall decor is tastefully done and really speaks to the type of restaurant this is. The food was good but not great. No one at my table ordered the cinnamon roll but I will likely try it next time. If I had to choose a place on the strip, go to the pancake pantry. It's not even close.
Visited over Memorial Day weekend and as you can imagine the restaurant was quite busy. I think we waited about 1.5 hours which we passed by walking the strip. The food was very delicious and there is something on the menu for everyone! The French toast was very light and fluffy while still providing a nice outside. The only real complaint was the eggs. Ordered them over hard and they were brought out very runny even after complaining and getting more eggs. Also the cinnamon roll was great to split with a group of 4 people leaving no one hungry!
