Cafe El Hacho - Gaucin

This is a really nice caffe with super view. we had some breakfasts here, then we had a late lunch. I recommend the spinat tortilla and the ratatouille. her rose is beautiful and dry and it is all very reasonable with friendly staff

Absolutely stunning, that it is worth getting this alone. to happiness, eating is also incredible as the service! will definitely come back.

We have been to this restaurant during annual visits to Gaucin and enjoyed it views, outdoor terrace, homemade dishes,etc. This trip however was a totally different experience. We entered and were noticed by the person at the bar. We sat on the terrace in full...view of kitchen staff. We sat. For fifteen minutes. No one came to our table to take our order. As we left the cafe, we passed again by the bar, no comment, nada from the bar person. Then we realized that what might have changed in this restaurant is that they now are indifferent to a foreign clientele. Why return when one is not welcomed to be there?

We love the special el hacho salad here and the food is generally of high standard. However, it does not come with a smile, unfortunately.

Ayer tuve la suerte de comer en este restaurante y como chef profesional que soy, no esperaba comer tan bien. La sopa de picadillo tenía un sabor espectacular y las carrilleras eran increíbles. Volveré pronto ya que El Hacho es un referente en la serranía.
