The New Carlton Fish - Gedling

Arriving just before 6pm on a Sunday, I was pleased to find this restaurant fully operational and ready to serve. There was no wait and the menu offered a wide selection of choices. I enjoyed a generous portion of fluffy chips with a flavorful curry sauce, topped off with a crispy battered sausage. Everything was hot and delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. A perfect dining experience on a Sunday evening.

After having a disappointing experience with fish and chips in Arnold, Mapperley, etc., we decided to try this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of the southern fried chicken, fish and chips, and large peas curry. Unlike other places, when you ask for a large portion, you actually get a large portion here. The food is of great quality and reasonably priced, with generous portions that don't skimp. It's definitely worth the ten-minute drive, I highly recommend it to everyone. You won't be disappointed, and you'll see the difference for yourself. Unlike other places that charge separately for fish and chips, you can get both here for just over £3.00. It's a bargain, so please give it a try.

During our stay with family, we enjoyed a delicious fish and chip dinner. The portions were generous, the food was well-cooked, and the meal was very tasty.
