The Plains - Gedling

My wife and I had an impromptu visit tonight and we cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The staff was excellent, very friendly and welcoming. The food was fried perfectly and tasted amazing. We will definitely be returning soon.

Best fish and chips in Nottingham, Staff so lovely and welcoming, spotlessly clean. Fresh flowers on every table in the restaurant. ' just that extra touch ' is special.

Popped in on Thursday 21st July and sat down, a waitress bought is tge menus and my wife ordered chilli and rice whilst me and my son ordered fish and chips and mushy peas. The food was all cooked fresh and well presented. All the staff were friendly and the shop was very clean. The fish and chips were possibly the best ive had for years. We are over this way again in August so we will be coming back

We had a lovely meal from The Plains F&C shop. The food was exactly what you want from a high quality takeaway cooked perfectly, with all the flavour but not too much of the grease. 10/10 would recommend!

I had a cod and chips from here yesterday and it was incredible! Such a great family run chippy that does amazing food. Will definitely be going back over and over again!
