Tom And Simon's Kitchen - Gedling

Visited their van in Lowdham on a Wednesday evening. Telephoned my order ahead which is advisable. Their fish chips and peas are truly excellent and give other local fish and chip shops a serious run for their money. They would be fantastic to hire for an outdoor summer event. I booked my order for 6.30pm and drove off at 6.31pm! The van also regularly visits and is stationed in Southwell (Coop carpark) and in Farnsfield. Not sure which days of the week. We hired Tom and Simon's Kitchen for our wedding and we couldn't have been more impressed. The food was excellent, the chips are seriously amazing, our guests were very happy. The team that served us were lovely and worked so hard given the heat this summer, everyone was fed on time. Thank you Tom and Simon's Kitchen, it was perfect.

This is the second time we have booked. 3 Years ago for my Daughter's 18th Birthday withe around 50 guests and then again a couple of weeks ago for her 21st and our 50th joint Birthday celebrations with around 90 guests. Absolute quality fish and chips. Possibly the best we have had. I am gluten free and I was catered for also veggie options available. From booking to after service, all is calm and sorted. I did not have any concerns about them turning up late or quality of food and friendliness of the staff. I think just about everyone of our guests said how good the food tasted. They run an immaculate van and well presented staff who have everything under control. Recommend the 100%. Well done and thank you.

Having had the idea of a fish and chip van for our upcoming wedding, we sampled a good number before making our final decision... After we tried Tom Simon's, it ended up being a fairly easy one. Friendly staff and very enjoyable, fresh cooked fish and chips. They're also reasonably priced. Correspondence to book for the wedding was also very easy and efficient and my fiancee and I are both very much looking forward to serving their food at our wedding. It's wise to ring ahead and book in advance. Especially during the winter months when you can be frozen waiting for your food to be cooked fresh!

I wanted to say a huge thank you to your team for the most delicious fish and chips. Everyone has commented on them and are still talking about them over a month later! Everyone was catered for perfectly and the temptation was even too much for some guests of another party who tried to join the queue!! I would highly recommend you to anyone considering outside catering for an event and hope you continue to deliver such delicious fish and chips!!
