Food items missing from delivery and impossible to get help with justeat or the restaurant, shocking customer service

Ordered take away tonight to find prices have shot up by an enormous amount Not just 20p but £2 or £3 an item Have always used this take away but will have to think twice now about ordering again.

I have used this take away for twenty years as it is the nearest to where I live and not had any issues before now. I ordered vegetarian food, all mushroom based, as I always have. It arrived quickly and was nice and hot. However, while eating it I found I was chewing a piece of chicken. This completely put me off eating any more. When I rang I was offered a replacement of only one of the dishes which I refused. I was told the best they could do was give me a free mushroom dish on my next order. Very disappointing. When vegetarian food is ordered that is what I expect to receive. To me, this indicates that meat is not cooked or kept separate from vegetarian dishes and this is unacceptable. I have been a vegetarian for years and have been confident ordering take aways but this has completely put me off. I would have expected a more sincere apology and at least a full refund. If you are a vegetarian, beware!!

My friends and I have ordered food from here plenty of times before. We like the food because it's well flavoured and not too salty. However, after our experience tonight we most definitely will not be ordering again. In short, we received a promotional code by email, which didn't work. On the phone, we got directed to a different website where it still didn't work, we gave up on the promotion and ordered normally. 1 hour and 30 minutes later, the wrong food arrived and when we phoned up again, the lady confirmed the correct order was now on its way but literally put the phone down on us before we'd finished speaking. Later, we spoke to the kind delivery driver (who brought us the correct food) and he said they've had lots of customer complaints about similar issues.

Never again. Ordered this Evening for a 22.00 delivery, phone call at 21.15 my order has arrived, I’m not at home yet. Got home at 21.55, delivery guy is there got my food on a plate, it’s stone cold so delivery guy must have been sitting waiting, and I ordered 1/2 aromatic duck, I got 1/4 aromatic duck, spoke to the shop, they said it is 1/2 aromatic duck, yes right?. Disgusting never will I use this takeaway again.
