Feedback gevenIn general our stay was very good. very friendly and helpful receptionists, good rooms and a cozy and high quality building. we came quite late, and in geiranger, most places near 22:00. this is also the case for the hotel restaurant. regardless of this, the recipeist helped us to eat something by offering some packs he found. exceptional service and a very nice guy. the breakfast was one of the best I had in a hotel, and the restaurant was good looking and comfortable. such variety and quantities of foods to choose is rare, but this hotel has nailed it. to mention the rooms, we had a beautiful view of the fjord. the beds were very comfortable, we had a fridge to store drinks, and the bathroom was nice. for the price we paid, we have a nice room, breakfast and also access to the spa that we did not use. Summary: positiw: -help and professional staff -nizza room - good price -very good breakfast -clean negatiw: - have you possibilities to buy food outside the restaurants opening hours
Beautiful hotel throughout and our room had a beautiful mountain view. the only negatiw I can give was that our room definitiw needed a renovation, as it looked from the 80s. the pools here are amazing and the restaurant makes something great to eat. will definitely return, but request another room. the spa was also worth a visit and had much more to offer than other spas.
We were one night, want to stay longer. fantastic location for prospects. swimming pool, whirlpool and sauna were beautiful. Buffet had a big choice. the staff was very friendly.
Cautious, moderate, overpriced. the website says that the transport can be arranged from the city inside, but if I called it, we should go up the hill and carry our luggage through the rain. when we arrived, our room was not ready, we waited almost an hour to check and nothing was offered in compensation. the employees seem to be irritated by our invaluability, and how they ask, can I help them? conveys a culture of contempt for the guests. we used the spa that was good, the suana was hot enough, but the steam room and the tub were not. the hand towels had a chemical smell like a kind of glue, and the soaps had excessive artificial fragrant substances. the restaurant was the most disappointing here, eating was clear mass-promoted and low quality, the only fresh ding was arugula that was served without dressing. the water on the tables was cloudy, the coffee was the worst I had in norweg. the lookout is simply the best that this hotel has, the beds are also very comfortable.
This hotel is overrated water leak in the bathroom, very small, passport’s size safe in our room, impossible to control heating in the room, disappointing breakfast, the only hotel in our 2 weeks Norway trip without salmon on breakfast. Dinner is good. SPA is very good, great outdoor pool and amazing view from the room. The staff is friendly, but you feel insincerity. During our stay in the hotel we have celebrated our 25 year anniversary and wrote it in the reservation and said again to the receptionist in check in. I think 25 years together, in our days, is great achievement, much greater then a every year birthday. But we didn’t receive any congratulations from the hotel. At checkout our friends were over billed and the staff tried to say that we don’t understand how to calculate…After 15 minutes of “negotiation” they paid the difference back. To summarize beautiful place in the fjord, but service does not match 4* hotel with the price €500/night.
