Wonderful gracious people serving us. Nice selection of Beer. Bread with flavored butter delivered before we we ordered, Geschnetzeltes Zurich Art was delightful.

We were staying at a hotel nearby we had just come back from the veltis arena 11.30 pm and our hotel did not have any food available at this time they recommended the Windsor we were very glad they did. A warm welcome awaited us we were given a menu in English and the food was embarrassingly HUGE and tasty the chef came out to my husband twice to check that his meat was ok and my son and i had salad and chips which were totally perfect. An amazing unexpected experience i will never forget.

Classic pub with really tasty and rich food until late in the night. It's always worth a visit.

Well, there's the windsor! A stay in the Windsor cannot be described in words, you have to experience it yourself! This cozy and rustic traditional place is located in the heart of Schalkes; here you can just forget the time and have a nice chat for a few hours in the evening. The Wirt Hansi and the Windsor Team are very friendly and accommodating, so that no wishes remain open. In addition to numerous (also local) beers and many other beverages, the menu also offers home-made dishes, as extensive as well as diverse. The portion sizes have made everyone sick! The Schnitzel, Steaks, Bratkartoffeln, Schaschliks, Gambas, Suppen and the Currywurst, the stramme Max and of course the delicious Hawai Toast! All dishes are always fresh and prepared personally by the host. Overall, the Windsor is always worth a visit with its traditional and cozy furnishings, the central location, the friendly staff as well as the particularly delicious drinks and dishes.
