Villa Aurora - Gemeindebezirk Ottakring

We were lucky to go with locals to this place as we'd have never found it otherwise. It is a real treat though. Great local food with a fabulous view of Vienna especially as the sun was going down and the lights of the city...came into view. It is a little expensive but you are well looked after and it is a great place to get away from touristy areas.

We have enjoyed our experience in the villa aurora for Christmas dinner (25). I wanted to find a typical Austrian place for my family, who visited me for vacation. that was absolutely perfect! the atmosphere was warm and cozy with the beautiful, old-fashioned wood...interior and candles on every table. the service was typical viennese (a little abrupt and sometimes hastened) but overall very friendly. and last but not least, the food was delicious! even my sister, who is something of a picky meal, found a great amount of vegetarian options. I really like to come back in the summer some time because it seems that the view of the city from the gardens is amazing! it is a little a walk to come here from the city, but it is definitely feasible by public transport! highly recommended.

Zum wiederholten Male wurde die alte Villa Aurora sie wurde 1785 fertiggestellt für ein Geburtstagsabendessen ausgewählt. Das Restaurant war an diesem Samstag, dem 7. April 2018, nicht überfüllt und so ließ sich das wunderbare Ambiente sowohl außerhalb auch auch innerhalb der Villa umso mehr in aller Ruhe genießen. Das ausgezeichnete Bier war wohltemperiert, das Essen, wie gewohnt, etwas extravagant zubereitet und in jedem Fall erstklassig, die Bedienung angenehm, freundlich, charmant und alles im Sinne eines gelungenen Abends. Salat und ein gebackenes Ei. '

Uriges lokal mit ganz eigenem Flair. Eine art Wiener Oase mit tollen Garten und schöner Aussicht über Wien. Drinnen leider etwas dunkel. Gute Hausmannskost .

Trendig, Traditionell und Veraltet. Irgendwie macht diese Mischung den Platz doch wieder reizvoll. Speziell aber in der warmen Jahreszeit wenn man im Garten sitzen kann. Dann ist auch eine gute Zeit für Treffpunkte mit ganzen Gruppen. Aber bitte reservieren nicht vergessen. Küche ist gut und traditionell Österreichisch. Gebackenes wie Schnitzel, Cordon Bleu und gebacker Fisch sind frisch, groß und gut.
