Cev: Ceviche Kinilaw Shack

It was my first time trying Ceviche with a local twist and it did not disappoint. A great spot for lunch since the food is heavy. We ordered the Coconut Pineapple !!! and Passionfruit cocktails. For appetizer, we ordered the fried spring rolls and our mains were the Guyam !!! and Santa Monica. The catch of the day was so fresh and the servings were good for sharing. Got their famous Twix dessert bar as well I would recommend to bring cash though since the signal is spotty in this area if you opt to pay via GCash and there are no nearby working ATMs.

There's some inspired cooking and selections going on at this place. Difficult to fault anything. An amazing representation of modern Filipino dining. Hope to see more like it in the future.

Been a fan of CEV ever since I came here in 2021 when it was just a small restaurant near Bravo. Now, the quality and taste of the ceviches have improved even more. The variety and assortment of their ingredients are even better. The servers are friendly and polite and you can easily tell that they are well-managed. Overall, I was pleasantly happy with my experience and would definitely come back again!

Ceviche or kilawin? Either way you won’t go wrong. We ordered almost every dish we could. Look at the pics and all I can say is the was a lot of thought for every dish. And it’s brilliant. Bravo to the chef. Too bad we were too late for the fish of the day. Something heftier maybe? The drinks were good too!!!By the way the place is gorgeous!

Best food in Siargao (best food we had on our whole Phillipines trip) ! Hit this joint multiple times on our stay, so good had to buy the t shirt. Highly recommended if you like fresh, quality food and a great vibe. Cheers to the CEV team
