le Canard intelligent - Genève

Le canard intelligent has a beautiful terrace and is located in the old town of carouge. we came to the business. we had tomatensalat, crispy duck with rice and dessert. if I'm not wrong, the price was 22 francs for the menu....Ok value.

This is known as a place which consistently serves good food, standards and service. I had the Szechuan duck, which was quite delicious. Of course if this is too spicy for you there are other ways in which duck or various other meats are prepared....The management and waiting staff are exceptionally friendly and warm. It does seem a little pricey although to be fair it is not especially so for Geneva. One downside to the venue would be if dining inside when it is busy, then it becomes difficult to hear conversation. But that is the price to be paid for eating at a place that is popular. Besides this would be less of a problem in summer when outdoor seating becomes available.

Superb discovery! We had the menu, the duck was so good and so was the rest! The setting is peaceful, the staff are adorable, they take great care of you, I wanted to eat everything because everything was tempting. Absolutely don’t hesitate and go for it!

Slow and disastrous service, 30 mts of waiting for the starter which they had forgotten, forgetting the salad sauce and then dish which arrives cold and another 10 mts of waiting! However it was not full with 4 people serving! I won't come back again
