Our friend got the Menu A miso soup, 6pcs maki, chicken katsu on rice)and it was very generous portions for the price. My husband and I split the Menu B Nigiri Sushi, Filet de Cabillaud, Riz, Soupe Miso) and Suggestion du Chef ½ Portion de Sushi 13pcs, Soupe Miso) and we were so full! Everything was delicious and the seafood was the freshest you can find. Perfect if you love sushi!
Always be one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Geneva and I keep coming back to this place. The location is very strategic, so close to United Nations office in Geneva, UNHCR headquarters, and so many international organizations around the area. They always have business lunches and express packages so that it will be ready very soon And we can have short yet productive lunch in there. My favorite is their sashimi business lunch, that comes with miso soup, sesame plate, cucumber, salad, and rolled beef and rice. They also have sushi, tempura, udon and steak. I also love their ice cream, especially green tea and red beans. The staff is very polite, friendly and helpful, and also fast.
Very disappointed by the service, we were in a small lounge, completely forgotten by the waiters. Excellent cuisine.
Excellent food and very good service. Very well maintained transitional place. Very good Japanese chefs. I would dream of frozen mochi without dairy and vegan.. I hope to be able to find it one day in this restaurant
A sad excuse for a pan Japanese/teppanyaki restaurant, this place does it all badly: dodgy nigiri (provenance “straight from Japan” highly doubtful , smelly teppan dishes (you won’t get the smell in the attached , but you’ll see it’s not very appealing visually , sad everything else. Don’t let my other pictures fool you: except for the tofu dish, all of our food was barely average at best. The hostess and head teppan chef are very friendly, but the other members of staff, mostly Chinese, are uncouth, unfriendly and uninterested. More egregiously, in a 80% empty restaurant, the service was appallingly slow. We caught a glimpse of the street-side supply room and kitchen upon entering for an early dinner and weren’t impressed with the lack of cleanliness. The teppan isn’t properly ventilated either so you’ll leave smelling like what you ate. Though the basement floor tatami rooms seem to attract a pretty loyal Japanese crowd (UN agencies, Japan Tobacco International? , this place was plain awful and a never again address. You’re welcome.
