Trilby - Genève

This was a truly great place to stay. Central to the city and the lake. The rooms were clean well equipped and air conditioning as it was top 30s really welcomed. The staff were also amazing. The cleaners did a great job and reception staff really helpful and nothing to much and kind especially after a long time traveling. They also gave the public transport free travel pass which we used to cross the lake. Go to the airport and saved a fortune as they were regular clean and timely. The hotel made a great holiday.

The hotel is more like 2 stars than 4. The room was not terrible but didn’t feel comfortable, kinda small. The worst was the bathroom: the toilet wood was chipped, bin too small, the shower was small, needed a thorough clean. Carpet was stained. The hotel needs proper renovations. Bed pillows uncomfortable. Location: it is quite far from main attractions, restaurants etc. Ac not strong enough to combat Geneva’s heat in August. only good thing was connecting rooms, I booked the hotel for that reason. Would I return? No Would I recommend? No

Tolles Hotel, gut gelegen. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichted. Das Essen ist fantastisch. Das Personalist freundlich.
