Senhor Do Bonfim - Genoa

We decided to take our daughter for her birthday to have a nice aperitif on the seaside. The place is beautiful and I was convinced l, after viewing the pictures of the establishment that it was special. Unfortunately when we arrived we noticed that the structure was very old, poorly maintained and considering that the temperature that day (August 23rd 2023) was very high (30 Celsius at 20:30 hrs) there was not even one ventilator. The menu looked interesting but unfortunately not many dishes. In addition one was missing. We ordered octopus with small tomatoes, burrata and lime mayo. Completely disappointing as the whole was inside two slices of something which I couldn’t identify (initially I thought fried rice or bread). Later I saw it was Arepa, corn bread, but very different compared to the corn bread I’m used to. We ordered a bottle of wine (some kind of local Vermentino) which wasn’t bad and some still water. Total amount spent 60 Euro. The waitress looked demotivated, quite sad. There was another quite large room with a disco but there was nobody, just a couple of DJs playing some music too loud for the time. We left quite quickly and drove to Santa Margherita where fortunately we found a nice place to have a couple of good cocktails and call it a night.

Good afternoon break after a long hike in Sant'Ilario. Perfect location for a good aperitivo, friendly stuff as well as very good music.

Ottimo, direttamente sul mare, personale molto gentile, sala musica location straordinaria e cena eccellente. ci siamo fermati per una fermata di ritorno dalle vacanze in dieci minuti dall'ocita dell'autostrada! Io tornerò

Bere un drink in ore di aperitivo ottima vista mare e bevande ben preparate. conveniente per la stazione ferroviaria. Lo consiglio!
