Eccezionale bar/ristorante, ideale sia per uno spuntino veloce che per un pasto completo, particolarmente popolare durante l'ora di pranzo ma anche aperto la sera. Ottimo anche per aperitivi e snack, con sempre prodotti di qualità e personale gentile. Non economico ma adeguato al servizio offerto.

Ristorante elegante con qualità sempre impeccabile!

We visited this fine restaurant in Genoa during our stay and went back many times as it was superb. This is why: 1. The food. Well presented and delicious. Pasta dishes in particular are excellent. 2. The Drinks. White wines were crisp and cold and we also enjoyed the strawberry smoothies. 3. The service. We were served each time by Jet, who was so professional, friendly and helpful. 4. The price. Great food and drinks for around £30. Much recommended.

Coffe was ok, even though expensive (6 euro for 2 cups of coffee that we got at the table. I understand we had them at the table, but this is still not Genoa, not Portofino). The price was not the worst part of my experience. The worst part I was the they declined to accept my 50€ note claiming they were fake. They said it was clear from the banknote it was fake because it was “very thin”. They said “they could see their ringer through” for what that means. I was very embarrassed, but whatever that could have been right. So I offered to pay with my remaining banknote which was 100 euro and they didn’t want it either (without even touching it). So I paid with my credit card and left. I then went to different stores and kindly asked to test the same 50€ banknote on a machine that they use to check if banknotes are fake and guess what? Both stores confirmed they they were real. To be very frank: I believe that the reason they didn’t accept my banknote is because they somewhat profiled me and my wife. Probably based on our appearance. Well: they have all the rights not to accept my money (even the 100€ banknote just by looking at it), but I have all the right to write this review and give what I believe is a very honest feedback.
