Feedback gevenI don 't like exaggerations but I have never tasted such a delicious parma ham ruccola pizza before. This is the first time I have visited this pizzeria and I was pleasantly surprised about the quality of the pizza I ordered. The personnel was also friendly, one of them yelled 'Bambina, come here ' to my 4 year old daughter and gave her two small lollipops while we were waiting for the pizza. The price of the pizza was DKK 71 which I think is above average price but it sure was worth it given the quality. The place itself looked like a typical street pizzeria, i.e. pretty average. They had a small bench and one small table fitting two chairs so don 't expect to sit there and dine.
... I know that 's hard to believe, but there’s a place in Hellerup, a small suburb of Copenhagen, that makes truly fabulous pizza. Lalucci’s Costa Hellerup pizza shop, on a corner of two busy streets, partly hidden by a bus shelter (you might not see the shop from across the street), has one table against the window, several showcases for various deli goodies and drinks, and a large pizza kitchen. So, unless you are lucky, it’s takeout — not so good for us as we were staying a long walk from the shop. A family of three was already sitting at the table, but we decided to order anyway. The menu, of course, is in Danish and though you can kind of figure it out it’s hit and miss unless you know Danish. Give it a try — “tomat, ost, fennikel salami, forårsløg, choritzo, frisk origano og parmasanost. Lalucci, the proprietor, watched us struggling with the menu for a few moments and offered to help. Here’s where the fun began. Lalucci is the sort of person you know right away loves his business and loves his customers. It turns out he left his engineering job to open a restaurant that made the very best Pizza. Everything is the finest quality from the flour to the cheeses and meats. He is totally happy that he keeps getting more and more customers and that can employ eleven people. He speaks almost flawless English, as did nearly all Danes we met. My wife and I went back and forth with various numbered menu pizzas asking Lalucci to interpret, explain the ingredients, etc. Soon he said with a laugh, “Just tell me what you like — I’ll make it any way you want.” With Lalucci’s help and descriptions of his cheeses, meats and sauces, we finally decided that mushrooms, artichokes, cherry tomatoes and chorizo all sounded delicious. I wanted to add sun dried tomatoes to the list, but my wife wasn’t sure, “Sun dried’s are a little too chewy for me.” “No, no I don’t use regular sun-dried tomatoes. I use only ‘semi-moist tomater.’ They are perfect — far, far better. You’ll see.” After more discussion and Lalucci’s mouth watering descriptions, we each selected from our big list and ordered two pizzas, one for each of us. We also bought a tin of his oven ready tortellini to take home. The three people seated at the table squished themselves to one end and offered us the remaining two chairs. The crust was fabulous and from the first bite you could taste each ingredient distinctly. We sat and ate the oven-hot pizza until we were more than stuffed. It’s a good thing we had a long walk home. The left-over pizza and tortellini fed us for two more meals. The tortellini is the best I ever tasted and the oven re-heated pizza turned out to be almost as good as the fresh baked. Restaurant food in Copenhagen is uniformly delicious, and the Costa Hellerup Pizzeria is a little gem. I believe that Lalucci felt it was his honor to make and serve the best imaginable pizza. And what a wonderful job he’s done! It’s a short train ride from central Copenhagen. Believe me it 's worth it.
The best genuine pizza for the gluten free pizzas and the ordinary ones this is the place to visit, you will not be disapointed. it is normally for takeaways but there is a table for 4 you can eat there. also you can order several gluten frees and freeze then..the best. hope they keep it that way always..so delicious.
Great service and tasty Italian pizza in town. Strongly recommended if you want to enjoy a good pizza while in Copenhagen. Kind and professional staff, they even offered us a coffee afterwards. Don't miss the chance to drop by
