Your chicken rice is the best I tasted before....if come to penang shud not miss these chicken rice

One of my favorite foods while I'm in Penang. They have always served various soups on different days to accompany the variety of roasts they had. I personally love to drink roasted chicken and barley. Monday will also have my favorite spicy soup

Have to dabao something for my kids, thy don't eat char kueyteow and hokien mee.. headache. Walk pass this stall and decide to give a try. No regret. The chicken rice is very nice, aunty still pack the soup for me despite I only dabao one small pack. Highly recommended!

Delicious and authentic Chinese grilled meat over rice plates. Also called Xiu Laap. Make the heart sing, haha. We arrived very late for a late lunch at approx. 230p and they close at 4p so many things were out, understandable. We had the Laap Cheung Sausage Rice Plate, the roasted chicken rice plate and the Xiu Juu Yok crispy pork rice plate. They were all delicious in their own right. It was an extra nice surprise that every dish came with a small house soup from chicken bones slowly cooked for hours. Although simple, it was so tasteful and nutritious. The young men who worked there were all stubborn of what I can observe and busy, although they were, they were attentive enough and the dishes came almost immediately after our order, ahead of only the small bowls of soup. As we ate, my little one suddenly shot a little piece of chicken skin and gave us all fear. Luckily it was quickly solved, and thoughtfully, one of the ladies worked there gave us a glass of hot water (room temp would have been better), which we thought was very nice of her as we had not ordered drinks. Overall, we enjoyed our meals very much and plan to be back to try out the articles that were today and we will not go too close to their closing time next time.
