Agua - George Town

Was quite excited to have the jack fruit taco but sadly it’s not offered anymore. They did prepare something special for me variation on the shrimp Saltado

We ate at Agua when they were in a different location in 2016 and I was so impressed that there was a separate vegan menu. They changed that and they now have a separate vegetarian menu with a few vegan options (not nearly as impressive to me as three years ago. The vegan options are interesting, for example, a vegan ceviche. They were quick to tell me they used a common fryer so anything fried would be fried in the same oil as non-vegan food. I ordered the vegan saltado. It was good, but not fantastic, yet rather expensive. The wait staff was very nice and attentive. If you want a very fancy vegan meal in an upscale restaurant, this is a good place. If you are just looking for a good vegan meal but don't need the upscale atmosphere and price, I would recommend Vivo.

Probably my favorite meal in our holiday. the eating was amazing, the intention was beautiful, the mood was beautiful, and our waitress was amazing. when we come back to grand cayman, we will definitely visit agua again.

Elegant restaurant that is perfect for a romantic dinner. the nightly ambiente is beautiful. delicious and fresh tasting. we could sit outside the water last minute and the staff was so nice. they even brought us bugspray when the mosquitoes came out! we stayed longer than planned to enjoy the hopeful with drinks that were also really good.
