Shanta`s Puri Shop - Georgetown

I was so hungry that I forgot to take any photos, but let me tell you, the curry was absolutely delicious—I just couldn't stop eating! My colleague even suggested we should take a break. My favorite dish was the 7 Curries; it was a vegetarian option that offered a wonderful variety. We also ordered a chicken curry, mixed fried rice, and fried snapper, and everything was exceptional. The fried rice was different from what you might find at a Chinese restaurant; it wasn't greasy and was bursting with flavor—though not overly spicy. There were so many other dishes I wanted to try. The service was fantastic, and the staff were friendly and eager to help. I mention this because, honestly, I couldn't pronounce half of the menu items! If you find yourself in Georgetown, Guyana, make sure to give this place a visit.

The food is excellent, and the customer service is outstanding. The seating area is comfortable, and the hotel is conveniently located in the city. They offer a wide variety of local drinks, snacks, and dishes.

We ordered the boneless chicken and roti, and it was fantastic.

I love this place. The food is Authentic as it comes and at a good price. Customer service is amazing. The only problem I had was the first time I ordered the food I was wrong. I still love this place and I will give them a five-star rating.

A Georgetown stalwart with great puri. This feels like an old fashioned snackette, where you can pick up a quick lunch. Puri is great, pastries are okay. Service is efficient and quick, as befits a place for a quick lunch. Likewise minimal ambience.
