I felt like I was in heaven while eating it! My husband declared it the best burger he’s ever had, and his cousin enjoyed hers just as much. You get to add all the toppings yourself, which is a nice touch. The French fries were also incredible; I don’t know what they do to make them so delicious! I highly recommend this place.
Their french fries come in generous portions; even the small size can easily satisfy two people, while the large can feed four. They serve both regular and sweet potato fries, and I'm particularly fond of the sweet potato variety. While prices are a bit on the higher side—a family of four ordering four burgers, two small fries, and four soft drinks can expect a bill of around $50—they're absolutely worth every penny! The restaurant is located in Georgetown Square within the historic M.B. Lockett Building, which dates back to 1896. It offers two seating levels, styled like an old saloon. The upstairs area is usually a 'U' shape that overlooks the lower level, though it typically opens only during peak times, such as Friday and Saturday evenings. They sometimes feature live entertainment on those weekend nights as well. The location is perfect for a lovely evening out since you can stroll around the Square afterwards or take a short walk or drive to San Gabriel Park to enjoy the San Gabriel River. It does tend to get busy, especially when there are events in the Square, which is often the case on Saturdays. Overall, Burger University boasts great food, excellent service, and a wonderful location.
First time there. Food took a little while to come out but it was totally worth the wait!!! I ll def go back and recommend to other people.
I absolutely loved the food at Burger University! The Alumni burger was so tasty and juicy! I also really enjoyed the fries and the onion rings! The service is great and I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant!
A hole in a wall type of burger place in Gtown. Been hearing about it from some of my friends and we had the chance to visit it 3 weeks ago. Service was excellent as well as their burgers! The only thing I disliked was their greasy onion rings.
