The breakfast here is good, with decent service. The restaurant can get a bit loud when the phone rings for takeout orders, so maybe hiring more staff would help. The prices for breakfast items are on the higher side, especially over $10 for a toasted western - it better be exceptional. Will consider trying it again next time.

The restaurant is decent. The food is homemade, but not top-notch quality. The prices are fair with the liver and onions dish priced at $12 and includes soup and bread. My wife enjoyed the fish and chips. Our friends treated us to dinner and if we lived closer, we might consider going again. However, driving 40 km for average food is not something we are willing to do.

The steak was low quality, salad was very small Inside was very cold, they didn't turn on the heaters. Waitress was very amateur, put off the fork on the table I really do not recommend

If I'm being honest, this is a 3* place but I'm a sucker for cute truck stop diners with adorable small town servers who are either 15 or 65 and you know what's on the menu before you even sit down. They had all day breakfast and they had eggs benedict which was impressive for a place like this. The hollandaise sauce was definitely not made in house but it was pretty tasty, cheap, and served super fast. How can I complain? Not a bad place for a simple lunch on the way home from the cottage.

Hollandaise is not made from scratch. Should be! Can't really recommend, until they stop using sauce from a bag. Will give place another try.
