Superb place that is unpretentious, local, down to earth, and genuine kiwi. Home of Geraldine Pies made in the kitchen in a wide range of fillings. My steak and mushroom pie had oodles of superb filling and moist tasty pastry. Decor is genuine old with a 1930's pram, old caravan teapot, and recommended armchairs from a similar period. Sweet home made delicacies to temp as well such as huge Strawberry and chocolate muffins. Go here if you are sick of plastic, franchises, slickness, and the worst of modernity and post modernity.
