La Soupe au Choux - Gérardmer

Typical dishes of the region, very well prepared. faster service and homy ambiente. highly recommended!

We went to la soupe au choux pretty hungry. the young man who did service did not seem to have experienced. we had to order everything twice, and we gave up to get a green salad. I'm sure this place could be good if the service was reasonable.

Waited 1hr30 for eating and hurdy service, many people sat without eating and not a great atmosphere. glass on the floor and on a chair, had not been cleansed. had to wait to get menus and had to wait until our order was taken. the drinks were not correct and very expensive! eating was not great and everyone felt sick after that! They told us there was a little waiting time for the firecueches, but over an hour is not up. we thought we were trying the restaurant because it looked like a good place because it was busy not fooling! it was only busy because everyone waited there to serve hours! I even noticed that some people were still waiting for food that had been there for hours, and the people even went because you had not come to eat! Honestly, we had a very bad experience and we will not go back! I wouldn't advise anyone!

We went there for lunch and as we were 7 people in this small restaurant, i thought it might take along time, but the service was very fats and efficient. the food was good, i loved the flame-kuchen.

Loved how this place was open so late (even on Christmas Eve! The staff was very friendly and it had a very comfortable atmosphere. We were so hungry and found this place, heaven-sent!
