Kreuzwiesenalm - Gerlos

After the bike for miles I was relieved to come across this place. We shared some crimps that seem to be a rarity and because they were something else, we gave them a jump. They were just fine. I was relieved for a sit-down and toilet break more than anything else. But great views and fast service.

We drove one day in Zell am Ziller and were recommended for lunch here. Well, we've pulled some pretty unstoppable ski conditions down to get here. So it was worth the detour? No, it's okay, but not better than you find elsewhere in this area. Oh, and by the way, just to note, they don't take credit cards. Service was sporadic with a main delivery and the other 5 arrival 10 minutes later. For the positive, the pizzas are worth waiting!

Good lunch if you are looking for a traditional Austrian scarf. Tiroler gröstl, Frankfurter, Schnitzel and Keimknödel all well. Good selection of drinks! And the view over the valley is spectacular.
