Gasthof Zum Goldenen Loewen

We stayed five days in the inn and visited Gerolfingen from the Franconian part of the romantic road (Nördlingen, Dinkelsbühl and Rothenburg ob der Tauber). We really felt comfortable with the Lotter family. This started with the roll call green (we had reserved), something that is not of course in much more expensive hotels. On four days we ate in the inn (once not because of the rest day) and were always very fond of the quality and quantity of food. A highlight was the turtle. It was served with an automatic pear! The animal was prepared by the senior manager himself and was excellently prepared. But also the beef steak, as you only wish, was delicate and tasteful. My wife ate cheese cookies that they cost better than in the Allgäu. Due to our experience we were not surprised that families come from more than 20 km distance to Lotters to celebrate birthdays here. All in Allem-a Farmyard, as you can only wish him and who unfortunately become more and more rare.

Was very pleasant and quiet, eating was very good.
