Mr. G's Ice Cream - GETTYSBURG

As a local, I have my go-to spots, and Mr. G's is the top choice for ice cream. The staff is consistently friendly, and choosing a flavor is the toughest decision to make because they’re all delicious. If you’re visiting Gettysburg, make sure to stop by Mr. G’s. And if you have a furry friend with you, they offer pup cups!

This is the best ice cream! A friend told us to be sure and stop here when we traveled to Gettysburg. I'm so glad we did. We had fresh peach in a waffle cone. It was the best fresh peach we've ever had, and the waffle cone was so fresh. Yum!!

We received a great tip from the woman at the souvenir shop next door about how to place our orders and discover some secret items that weren't on the menu but were featured on their Facebook page. After following her advice, we decided to try a special called Pumpkin^2 and opted for the hand-dipped ice cream instead of the usual soft serve (after all, everyone does soft serve, even Dairy Queen). Although my son accidentally received his ice cream in a cup instead of a cone, and I ended up with two full scoops instead of the half scoop of two flavors I ordered, everything turned out to be absolutely delicious! My husband loved his pumpkin treat, my son thoroughly enjoyed the cookie dough flavor, and I had a wonderful combination of vanilla and blackberry raspberry. The service was quick, which likely contributed to the minor mix-ups, but sitting on the patio, enjoying ice cream, and playing ring toss made for a wonderfully fun afternoon!

Excellent! They offer sugar-free options, which are crucial for maintaining my KETO lifestyle. It can be busy at times, so it's best to ask for the sugar-free options. This time, I tried the berry flavor! Perfect for diabetics and those on a KETO diet.

Could not ask for friendlier staff! Definitely the best place to get ice cream in Gettysburg!
