We've tried Sundays, Mondays, the summer holidays and our latest (wasted) trip was over the Christmas break. Given that Gex is close to the mountains, we thought it would be a safe bet. So it was with some surprise that they close for the whole of the Christmas period (until the 5 Jan 2015). Is it ever going to be possible to dine here? Simon
A really excellent stop for wine and food we had tuna and salmon. Both were served incredibly well.... We amazed that the IT can be done when we "visited the other more expensive places and they cannot even make a decent burger! Remedies really surprised us and we cannot wait to be back! Very recommended!
I love this place. Large selection of wine, nice food and good service. It is ideal for Apéros and there are many parking spaces nearby.
The concept fits perfectly with a dinner with friends. Good wines to discover (and buy), excellent dishes (strong) for one or to share. Prices are correct for the region. 2 tricks: i/ book in advance, the place is small. ii/ visit the rest room (obtrusive)
Had a glass of Champagne (Louis Roederer) excellent, really good, didn't try and of the food though. Didn't find the stools to be particularly comfortable. They have a large selection of wines, many a enjoyable nights could be spent savouring all they have to offer.
